FILM RANCH begins principal photograpy on its new feature film (5/6/08)

FILM RANCH is proud to announce production has commenced on our new feature film: Brainjacked.  A turbo-charged mash-up of sci-fi and horror, Brainjacked is the story of Tristan Davis, a young runaway who is lured to "The Garden", a rehab center for homeless youth.  The Garden is overseen by the seemingly sympathetic Dr. Karas, who cures Tristan from raging migraines.  Little does Tristan suspect, however, that The Garden is a front for sadistic experiments executed by Karas and his runaway minions.  It's up for Tristan to stop the doctor's ultimate plans of taking over the city's youth population and making them an unbeatable street army all controlled by the evil Karas.

Directed by Andrew Allan, Brainjacked will soon upload raw, hi-tech terror to theaters and home video in 2008/2009.  In a refreshing break from remakes and sequels, Brainjacked offers horror/sci-fi fans and audiences a stunningly original story by Andrew Allan and Andy Lalino, injected with classic exploitation elements Film Ranch is famous for!

Brainjacked is being filmed entirely in the Tampa Bay area of Florida and features Florida's top acting/crew talent: newcomer Chris Jackson portrays the reluctant hero Tristan.  Somali Rose is the alluring Laney, who must balance her attraction to Tristan with her loyalty to Karas.  Rod Grant is the wickedly unhinged Dr. Karas, who has shocking plans for the runaway slaves he has collected.  Chris Sarlls is Zane, a mutant half-breed who is one of Dr. Karas's escaped experiments, now out to right the wrongs Karas has inflicted.  Filthy fans will no doubt recognize the gorgeous Krista Grotte, playing the deadly sexy Heaven!

With the absolute best crew and acting talent making up our production/post team, Brainjacked is sure to be one of the most highly anticipated independent horror films of the year.
